Louisville businessman J. Edwin (Ed) Webb is President and Chief Executive Officer of the World Trade Center Kentucky (WTC-KY). The WTC-KY is a member of the World Trade Center Association which encompasses a global network of over 300 World Trade Centers in 92 countries. The WTC-KY represents and works for businesses large and small from across the Commonwealth to create awareness and to serve as an economic development catalyst through international trade.


Webb manages and sets the strategic direction for this global trade association. During his five years at the WTC-KY, the organization has increased its trade education program offerings to include a regionally recognized trade certification series, forged a partnership with the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky to design and conduct global training classes to its undergraduate students and MBA candidates, implemented the Center’s Trade Advisory Services division and has negotiated new business partnerships with business and trade associations across the Commonwealth and region.
