Annually a delegation of KBT members travel to Washington, D.C. to meet with the Kentucky Congressional Delegation & their staff. In recent years, attendees have had the opportunity to meet with Cabinet Secretaries as well as other high-ranking U.S. Officials.

Day 1

 

Morning: Travel

Early Afternoon: Arrive in D.C.

 

The Hill

 

167 Russell Senate Office Building | Senator Paul's Conference Room

Main entrance to Russell at the corner of 1st Street and Constitution Ave NE. Please note there is construction going on so there is scaffolding around the entrance and this side of Russell. But the entrance is still open and accessible. This entrance actually brings you in on the second floor so once you pass security use the elevator or stairs to go down to the 1st floor and then follow signs to room SR 167. 

 

4:30 pm Sen. Rand Paul

S-230 the Capitol

We will be escorted from Sen. Paul's meeting.

Capitol is at the corner of Constitution and Delaware. You will enter through the small detached building for Appointments and Official Business located to the right of the Senate Steps. From there you will proceed to the Senate Appointments Desk where you will be given credentials for our office.
